We KNOW talent when we see (and smell) it. We take great pride in recognizing our awesome Dark Woods cast of all original characters. They're all good people, members of our community who enjoy expressing themselves in ways we could never have imagined. And our guests can get involved too! Vote for YOUR Favorite character NOW! IT'S ALL ABOUT THE CAST

The Dark Woods Haunted Attraction at Trombly gardens prides itself on a truly original cast of misfits, maniacs, and meanies; ALL conceived and developed by our talented cast members and event management. Our carefully selected cast members must brainstorm their character's back story and plan for character interactions, including name, costume, makeup, props, and lines.
All characters are approved by and developed with management.
General guidelines for characters are:
1) No clowns {No offense Bozo}
2) No commercialized characters {Sorry Mike, Jason, and Pennywise}
3) Character must fit with our show's theme - i.e. politely gross
4) Keep it simple and keep it GOOD
The Ghoulie Awards are a unique way to recognize the best cast members each and every season! Initial voting begins with guests' nominations. Final voting is done by the nominees' peers.
"The Ghoulie" is awarded based on very strict criteria which must be met for candidates to be nominated.

"Dolly"
2021 Season Winner

She's not quite (entirely) dead, but she's close. She wants you to see her beautiful collection of porcelain and pewter. Step forward into her beautifully decorated shed and consider her invitation to stay for some crumpets and hot tea.
"Arden"

What's better than the soft, sultry sound of a welder hammering in the darkness? The only light sporadically illuminating his filthy face is the light provided by sparks from his work on a nearby grinding wheel. Don't get too close - God only knows what Arden has in that heavy apron.
"The Wendigo"

What is that lurking in the dark? It's large, furry, and mysterious. Homemade skull mask, complete with antlers, along with an overwhelmingly-expensive suit of fur, this character was one of our first "fantasy" characters, and it was a total home run. Even creeped out some of the natural habitat.
